Had my first ever lesson this week after I was recommended by a friend. What a great guy, quickly pointed out things to work on and ways/drills to iron them out. Would certainly recommend anyone wanting to improve at the game! Looking forward to next session in a few weeks time and seeing how I improve taking on Ian’s advice. Cheers.

Can’t recommend Ian enough. I had 3 hours today and he suggested a couple of changes to my technique, but made a point in explaining why this would help. Really sound fella. If you are serious in improving your game, give him a shout. Brilliant!

Had a lesson from Ian and he is a great coach! I had had some lessons previous with another coach that i never quite adapted to, and found it quite simplistic and not very customised to my stance, style, or the fact i am left handed. but me and Ian hit it off from the start and he was very thorough and concise in his tutoring. He noticed my flaws almost instantly and gave me some personalised tips to help me improve. By the end of the first session Ian had me striking the ball amazingly and feeling way more confident. Can't wait to book in for more!

Had a couple of fantastic sessions with Ian. Ian was very quick to identify the subtle technical flaws in my cue action and I saw immediate improvement once we started to rectify them. His technical knowledge and ability to fully explain the subtleties of cue ball control and positional play is second to none. Above all, the sessions are relaxed, thoroughly enjoyable and instantly rewarding. The snooker room is brilliant (not jealous, at all😉), with a top quality Star table, 1G balls and totally private. Ian is a top bloke and I would absolutely recommend anyone at any level who wants to improve their snooker to get in touch with Ian and book a session. Thanks Ian. Looking forward to the next one👍

Have recently took up the game again after 20 years away, and whilst not expecting to rediscover my level immediately, have been totally frustrated at the lack of improvement. I asked Ian for help and we had our first 2 hour coaching session yesterday. He immediately puts you at ease and identifies the issues (plenty in my case) to work on. I left with renewed hope and some drills to work at on the practice table. I would encourage anybody with an interest in the game who plays for fun or at amateur level to give Ian a call, as his knowledge of the game and ability to coach is invaluable. Had an excellent 1-to-1 coaching session with Ian Burns recently! His professional background really shows — he quickly spotted what I needed to work on and gave me clear, practical tips to improve my aiming, use of side, long pot accuracy, and break building. I’ve now got some solid areas to focus on in my solo practice. Looking forward to another session with him soon. Highly recommend Ian to anyone eager to improve their game.
